Welcome back! To... me. :)
I just got back from good ol' Grand Rapids, Michigan, where I attended a super fun photography workshop. It always helps me to jam one of these into my schedule every now and then: I learn some new skills, brush up some old ones, and meet some great women!
I think, most importantly, it really helped me pinpoint the types of pictures I want to take... and assured me that it's OK to not take the ones I DON'T want to take. :) Meaning.... If you know me and we've talked about pictures, I may have mentioned that I am really not into the "family by the lake, sitting in the grass" thing. Which is not to say I dislike the PICTURE, it's just that there are 5 thousand (or more) photographers out there who already take that picture. (Well, maybe I do dislike that picture. But if I see it in your house, I will try my best to convince you that I really didn't mean it. Ha! Jury is still out for the white shirts and khakis on the beach.... :/)
ANYWAY- back to the point! I had a great time, and am unbelievably excited to start skipping down this new path with my clients, both old and new. I am also adding high school seniors to the list- I'll tell you more about that soon... but you can probably guess we wont be shooting those on a small bridge or near any fountains. :)
Here's a few of my most recent shots... and I WILL take more of these!! Any takers? :)
