Here comes the (fake) Bride!!!!

These are the days when I absolutely LOVE my gig. LOVE.  Save for the ninety five gazillion degrees we shot in- this was such a fun shoot today!  My new friends Vanessa Swarovski Piedra, and her husband Jorge, hired me to take promotional pictures for their gorgeous jewelry line.  (Yes, I just name dropped.... these crystals are the real thing!)  I will link to their website when it goes live (which should be soon) but until then, you can see a few of their products on the models.   (If you REALLY want some, you can email  tiffani@vspcompany.com.  She's got the goods.;)  I've only started going through them, but as it always goes, I usually edit my favorites right out of the gate! (Can't help it, I'm like a kid at Christmas!)

One thing I couldn't help was playing up any... ummm... "tension" between the bridesmaids and the groom. Not sure if they'll go that route in their family brochure, but it was fun to do! :)

A night with the Jonas Brothers (at the new Dallas Cowboy Stadium!)

It all started a few months ago...My buddy/neighbor, Stephanie, and I were sitting around with a glass of wine in our hands, and somehow that turned into a $300 ticket purchase to go see the Jonas Brothers! Between then and now, we were also able to gather up a few "meet and greet" passes, so the whole thing just kept getting better and better!

Well, the concert was this past Saturday, and we had a blast!  We got there VERY early: we had to pickup the wristbands for backstage... still the line and wait was EXTREMELY long, and freakishly hot.... we saw many a "done up" teenage girl literally melting as we waited... (I wonder if any of the Jobros are into excessive mascara down your cheeks? ;)  

This was once we finally got into the deep underbelly of Cowboy stadium... not as hot, but the line still long...

Brandon (a dad from one of my recent shoots...) is taking one for the team... the only Dad of our group to withstand the meet and greet...

So the line finally turns a few corners... and look who has a dressing room here!!!  Hmmmm......  (Pssst...It says "Miley Cyrus.") 

And not one to miss a good "neat wall" opportunity- I posed Sayde for a shot. :)

Getting close now... and this girl has caught a glimpse.....

This guy was there- looking important, and he ended up introducing the band... I know I've seen him before.. MTV?  The guy in the hat. Can't place him.  Thinking he's a producer or something?  Anyone?

And FINALLY, here we are!  (Hate to say it, but there were so many people, it was less like a "meet and greet" and more like a "see and snap.")  We said about three words to them "We're Casey's family", they said three words back "Nice to finally meet you"  (okay four) and that was that.  Sayde was on cloud nine, though. ;) (p.s. Backstory, my husband knows them through work...) 

Then it was upstairs to our seats to see the awesome new Cowboy stadium in all it's glory.

She was looking at these (big as my house) TVs... the larger one basically spanned the entire length of the football field! And they are HIGH DEF!!!!

We'd do it again in a heartbeat!!  Thanks, Jobros, for an awesome experience! Don't know who had more fun, the moms or the daughters....?! :)

Funniest sign I've seen in a while!

Let me preface- Im sure there is a great discussion going on inside the Mt. Gilead Church... but this sign, as it pertains to MY life, is pure comedy gold.  I, of course, use photoshop on a daily basis... so my response to this is:  "Thats because his butt never looks big in pictures."

How about BOTH!??!  Man- this family is not only GORGEOUS, but they are amazingly cool, laid back, and SUPER nice!  4 kids... and mom must have some magic dust in her pockets, because these kids were all freakishly well behaved. Well, I said freakish, but it wasn't really freaky, at all. :) It's more of a jealousy freaky. Like, how do they do it?!?!  They're just..... AWESOME.  EVEN THE LITTLE GUYS!!!!  It was a really fun session- and here's a few I've edited so far....

And this little guy- oh my- what a HOOT!!!  This mean face was totally part of his act- he was WORKING the camera!
